10. Do I need to come up with a totally new and original science concept/theory for my busking demonstration?
No, you do not need to. As one of the judging criteria emphasizes on your ability to demonstrate a science concept creatively, the key factor here is to communicate a science idea (in fact any existing science idea) in a creative manner.
11. Must I always do a new busking demonstration for every round?
Strictly speaking, you do not need to. However, you are strongly encouraged to come up with new busking demonstrations throughout your progress from registration to Final round. Judges will also be looking out for some interesting elements of surprise and creativity in your performances!
12. Can I come up with many different busking demonstrations within the allocated time slot?
Yes, you can! We are flexible with the number of busking demonstrations as long as you keep within the allocated time.
13. For the Audition, Busking and Final rounds, does the allocated time (e.g., 5 minutes) include the busking demonstration only?
Yes, you are right! Make good use of the allocated time to amaze us with your busking skills! After that, you can explain to the judges about the science behind your performance.
14. Can you explain more about the wildcard selection in the Busking Round (offline)?
The judges will select one lucky individual/team which did not collect enough votes to be qualified for the top 9 individual/teams. This will be an additional adrenaline rush at the end of the Busking rounds!

No, you cannot. We are sorry to inform you that the special award is only given to individuals or teams which qualify for the Final round.
