Hi all!

We invited the 27 teams that qualify for the next round to come back for the crucible workshop, to brief on what they have to do. At the same time, we also invited Jolyon Caplin and Dr Sow Chorng Haur from NUS to speak to the students about Science.

Besides that, the previous winning team from 2008 also came to tell us more about their experience!

All of us certainly had a great deal of time interacting with them.

The teams were hilarious and put in lots of effort in the competition. We thank them for their time in coming down and effort in preparing, to make science so fun.

After 2 days of busking round last week, we finalise on the teams that advance from audition round.  Every team had shown their determination to make sure that they advance, but only certain teams were selected. There will be a Crucible Workshop held for the selected teams to participate. It will hereby help in their upcoming demos and attract the audience.

We will be having a briefing on the science buskers festival 2009 tomorrow, 3pm at Science Centre. Will be sharing some info and tips for participants.

Hi all!

We have visited Temasek Junior College and my, how much fun everyone had! We would like to thank students from TJC for being so supportive and enthusiastic for joining us!

We are also glad to have our past winners from Science Buskers Festival 2008, Three Buskateers and cheMagic, to showcase and share their busking skills with students!
