Organised by ST Aerospace and supported by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the Singapore Science Centre, the workshop was held for two days and benefitted 207 students.

On 2nd Sept, 102 students from 15 secondary schools attended the workshop while on 3rd Sept, 105 students from 13 secondary schools were in attendance. The workshop's programme included a video show of early flight attempts, a talk on the history and principles of flight, a demonstration of remote controlled planes, a visit to the Air Force Museum, interaction opportunities with pilots and aircraft maintenance personnel and competitions in making airfoils and paper airplanes. The participants left knowing more about the world of aviation.
